MARGINAL
Boston, MA | 2015
Marginal is the re-creation of a wharf made of salvaged oak pilings from a wharf in Boston Harbor. The pilings exhibited different shapes and textures from various environmental forces that were exaggerated in the installation by cutting the original pilings into 2" cross-sections and reorganizing the parts by shape and texture.
Marginal was installed on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston as part of the 2015 Design Biennial Boston.
