GREAT SALT LAKE SALT PONDS
Great Salt Lake UT | 2007
This documentary focused on secondary environmental effects that sometimes result from the industrialization of the landscape. In this case, the intensification of the natural salt water evaporation process for the production of commercial salts influences algae growth, attracting brine flies and brine shrimp which are harvested for their eggs for feed and fish farms, and also attracts migratory birds.
