TANK FARM DEMOLITION

Landing Studio orchestrated the demolition of a 13 million gallon asphalt and jet fuel terminal located on the Chelsea MA waterfront. The project included the full abatement of all site structures, clean-out of storage tanks and piping, and tactical salvage of specific site elements to be re-used in a waterfront park, including a series of large aluminum geodesic domes that covered the 60 foot tall storage tanks. Landing Studio developed a choreography plan for lay-down zones and movement of the salvaged structures during all phases of demolition and construction operations.
