TIME LAPSE CAPTURES

2011-2012

Since 2011, we have installed cameras to capture a salt dock at varied intervals over different durations of time to analyze the characteristics of the industrial landscape. The time-lapse photographs de-emphasizes the formal properties of the scene and foregrounds kinetic transformation. What seems fixed within a duration of hours might become kinetic across weeks and vice-versa, and what seems minor or small scale in impact might accrue over time to result in significant urban transformation.
