A 750 ft long bulkhead and ship bollard installation adjacent to a 40 ft draft ship berth had been recently completed. Following construction we developed a monitoring system to chart the displacement and movement of individual z-pile sections to watch for excessive settlement or shifting as a result of ship mooring in the first year of the bulkheads use.
