Viaduct under-stories are full of shadow. Cheap and powerful high pressure sodium (HPS) lights are most often used in such infrastructural areas, saturating the under-story in an undifferentiated yellow glow. 

This project is a re-design of the illuminated atmosphere of the under-story with space-making, adaptable lighting scaffolds.
